Default CAI, STB, and Washers

I own the Neuspeed STB w/ the Injen CAI. I am curious as to if it is possible for me to put thicker washers (or more than one) so that the STB would clear the CAI? Would there be any drawbacks from doing this? Thanks!

The point of the strut tower bar is to reduce body flex. if you add washers to get it mounted above the CAI, you will still acheive this, but also add a bit for flex becuase of the loger bolt exposure above the towers where they would usually mount in. In otherwords, you'd get a bit less stiffness than with out extending.

BUT since the S2000 doesnt really need the STB anyways, I cant see the harm in doing so on this car.

I really don't care about stiffness (I already got a Spoon X-Brace and a Neuspeed rear lower tie bar ). I just want it for looks (you know, bling bling ). My question is that will it harm my shock-tower in any way by adding a much thicker washer or multiple washers. Thanks though. Latez!
