Also I found one thing that should be put into consideration is that if the car is modified or not.
A stock car usually has pretty good gas milage, imo
a heavy modified car will burn more gas

here's the current pertient ones for this thread, just FYI:
overall MPG (mostly hwy): 23.7
total spent on fuel since 25-June-03: $1414.72
total gallons purchased: 636.16
average days between fill-ups: 7.29 (it's my weekend toy)
average fuel price: $2.26.

I almost exclusively fill-up on Chevron Supreme.
You are from the Bay Area and your average price for Chevron Supreme is only $2.26??? Tell us where you go to buy your gas, I'd like to buy my gas there as well. Better yet, post this info in the Bay Area forum.

oh no my friend, that's been the average fuel price since June, 2003. believe it or not, but just last year... on Dec 24th, 2003... I was able to buy Chevron Supreme unleaded for only $1.769/gal ... but those days are long gone it seems. ever since Feb 20th, 2004, Chevron Supreme has been above $2.239/gal and hasn't looked back.

my 10-fill-up moving average has hovered between $2.40 and $2.50 since about April 16th, 2004.
