I didn't have too much luck with this on search. I'm wondering if powder coating calipers instead of paint is an option. I don't know alot about powder coating, but I'm guessing that an obstacle may be that you have to bake the part at about 400 degrees. I don't know how hot the seals and stuff get under normal use, but it sounds like you'd have to want to tear the caliper down to remove all the seals and boots etc, and then rebuild after powder coating. Comment anyone?

 

Yep, rebuild the calipers after you powder coat them.


Check out htto://www.hardtopguy.com for rebuild kits. I know he has them out there for sale, but I can't remember how much of the top of my head.

 

Alternatively, Ricks does (or at least used to do) a core exchange. You order calipers PC'd in whatever color, then when they come, you ship them your calipers upon exchange.

But we no longer offer powder coated calipers. The coater flaked and we have not found anyone that can replace him.
