Can every S2000 owner buy this..

I've seen it on different colored cars - on some, it shows more than others. It looks quite ok/invisible on the silverstone. But on the yellow, it's very noticeable. On the white, you have to keep the edges clean, otherwise, you notice it. On a black, it's noticeable if the car is clean and polished - the plastic stands out. On the red, it's not bad.

I did a little looking around, and found that these Lexus owners swear by Invica-Shield ( supposedly also known as X-pel?). It's informative reading if you are considering protecting your car:

s2ktaxi's observations' sound about right: on silver and red cars, it's hard to tell it's there. It's not ugly at all. About what Penforhire said, I thought the website lists the price of the deluxe kit (w/o installation), as $316+, not $500+.

It is still expensive, nevertheless. And I'm wondering if the "protected" area will age slower than the rest of the car - thus when you do take it off, you won't have a uniformly covered set of body panels/parts.

Does your motorcycle get parked out in the sun/rain as much as a car does? When you are driving/riding around, is it as exposed to the elements? Or are you really the protector on the bike?
