Can you drive 55?
Not exactly a surprising development, considering.

Didn't somebody calculate that the S2000 gets its best mileage somewhere around 70mph?

I'm close to owning an AP2 but after test driving it I don't know if I could drive it 55. I do drive my 1993 Maxima 55 mph though. I got like 27 mpg out of it...1 above the stats from back in 1993...that was also on regular too and not premium haha. I can't wait til I get the AP2 though...soon.

Here's the scary part about 55. Last time under Carter when we went to 55, I was driving a modified cuda. My brother had a vette.
Under the guise of feeling patriotic, cars would purposely line up across all the lanes on the freeway and go exactly 55, blocking anyone from going faster.
Then if you did find your way through, you were the subject of road abuse from the 55mph'rs. Everything from the bird to call the cops. It truly was a time for the anal among us to shine.

Note: This was the first time the gov't killed the "muscle car". Now they're going to do it again.
