Hey, I live in a state where you can't talk on your phone while driving because you must be too stupid to do more than one thing at a time. Awesome.
Not that i support these no-cell-phone laws... i don't ... but ->

Houston did a study that proved that 55 mph speed limits caused more traffic problems, thus increasing the amount of gasoline used. There is no way I could drive 55 on an interstate. I can hardly make myself slow to 75.

so i've basically never driven 55 for an extended period on the freeway by choice, and this morning i tried it out. i've got the dreaded donut on the rear, had a bent/cracked rim which is gettin fixed at the moment. not supposed to go too fast with those stupid things.

so at 55 mph, which by chance is actually the speed limit in the section of highway i'm on, literally every car on the road is passing me, and i don't mean slowly. i felt like i was walking on the sidewalk as cars went flying past. it was disconcerting to say the least, and also i was irritating the piss out of every other driver who got stuck behind me. i had enough very quickly and got off at the 2nd exit i passed... took backroads the rest of the way.

if they make the highway speed limit 55, it'll be the same thing ... anyone who actually goes that slow will be like a speed bump for everyone else.

As far as I'm concerned John Warner can impose this anarchy in Virginia all he wants.

Just leave the other 49 states alone.

I'll just stay the fook out of Virginia
damn you, I hate living in VA.
