I can think of an easy way to steal an S2000 off the top of my head, with the theif being able to drive it away. You just need one part thats somewhat easily available albeight expensive.

Here's how to reset the maintenance required light, it's from the FAQ's in the Library:
"Approximately every 7000 Miles the maintenance required light will appear on your dash. It is very easy to shut the light off or cancel it.
Put key in ignition
Push trip reset button, continue to hold button for 10 seconds
Turn key to next position
Hold button for approximately 10 seconds or until light stays off.
The secret is holding the reset button and turning the key to the next position. It does not specify that in the manual. "

The immobilizer is great, but it doesn't hurt to take extra steps to make it harder for the thief. Getting an aftermarket alarm with an ignition kill would be nice.
