Oh the black carpet does suck, however, it doesn't stand out as much.

Melowman, you've got a decision to make and that's what life is about. This car however, is not about the color of the interior. No matter what color you get , you are gonna have THE BEST time running this car around corners and vtec'ing to 9k. Oh and then you will most likely join the mod wagon if you stick around here enough. Good Luck with your new purchase, welcome to S2000 International and for god sakes don't let the throttle suprise you in corners.

P.S. Go sit in each color interior, you'll know what's right for you...

RED ON RED, THAT WOULD LOOK SHARP---HERE'S AN IDEA--GET RED W/ BLACK AND THEN ADD THE RED INTERIOR, THAT WAY YOU CAN SWITCH IF YOU GET BORED

The first time I saw an S2000 was in Road & Track magazine. It was red with red interior. I fell in love. When I bought mine, silver/black was all that was available.

I bought two used red/black door panels, a red and black console cover, red shift boot and had the perforated centers of the seats done in red leather. I'm still waiting on my red and black steering wheel.

I think this is the best of both worlds. The areas that wear the most, the outsides of the seats and the carpeting, are all black.

Or you could go with the brushed aluminum trim pieces from MG Racing, et al.

Silverstone with red is the best choice for this car, IMO. Spice it up wit Rick's red wheel and the console as suggested, and you've got THE sweet ride. You're buying a sports car for the ages- don't go boring....

That pix shows off your red interior - it's beautful!
