Get the red...much, much cooler to the touch, out here is sunny LA where the sun is always shining and the top is always down!

I have a silver/red, and as soon as the carpet wears out, I will get a black carpet. A black carpet with red seats, door pannels, floor mats would look sweet.

I have a silver with red interior, which I love and never grow tired of. If you get the red interior, two changes are essential, and I did both the first day after my car was delivered. First, swap out the right and left carpet sections for black. The red carpet is ugly, IMO, and the black carpet makes the red interior look much better. Second, get a black or red/black combo console cover, which will hide the last remaining red carpet under smooth leather. I'm not really plugging my own products, but I developed the console cover before my car was delivered, intending only to use it on my car, not to sell them. But the thing took on a life of its own and ballooned into a liitle S2000 accessory business.

forever-

i think rick's gonna be out of town for a few days, so in case he doesn't get back to you...

check out his web page (under the sponsor section). there's a couple of pictures of what i believe to be his car under the steering wheel and center console links.

it looks really nice with that black carpet. i have contemplated doing this but i am curious about cost and how to change the red carpte behind the seats.

hope this helps.

Rick had his red carpet removed and replaced with black when he got his stereo installed. I gather he was less than pleased with the stereo but fully satisfied with the carpet replacement.

Here's pictures of Rick's car with most of the red carpet removed:

Here's his description of how pleased he is with the black carpet:

And here are pictures of the interior with the black carpet and red seats.

Hope this helps.
