Car Help
Guys yesterday night, i went car searching, and the 1st place i went to was honda to look at the s2000, i fell in love with it...stock 17 inch rims...the interior is to die for...the hidden sort of buttons to open the trunk and the cd player, engine looks like a piece of art, very comfortable i felt like i could drive this car all day...and i could imagine my self driving this on the expressway ahhhh...BUT....my friend was like...with the money your going to pay for this car...you can get a evo or a sti or a 350, mustang gt...and..then he just took off the focus i had on the s2000. So to make things short..we went to go see other cars.... I told my friend that what i really want is just a fast straight line car and that can handle good, and have great reliability, which is the reason why i want a s2000 HONDA!. So he said, no matter what car you get if you take care of it blah blah blah. So i want to ask you guys what do you think about this? is it better to get a evo, or a sti or even a srt4 instead of the S?...IF what im looking for is straight line performace and some what good handling?
So anyways questions about the S....if the s a car i will be able to mod? for example a turbo? and will it handle the turbo good and not !@#$ up the car? also is it a good car to drag race in? with some mods...
please help me guys out, i gotta decide what car to get...because i want to be able to buy the car and not say...i should of got w.e...HELP!

Well the S will outhandle those other cars you mentioned but it's straight line performance will be overshadowed by the STI and maybe equal to that of the evo and srt-4. I've beaten both stock evo and srt-4 in a drag race but never went up against STI. Best way to decide is to drive. The fun to drive factor in the S is above all the rest that you mentioned though. Nothing like top down on some good twisty roads!!!
To sum it up: You want handling, straight line quickness, reliability (with forced induction), and the ability to drag race.
You *can* do this with a S2000, but you'd probably be better off with the STI or Evo.

the sti or evo are they both reliable cars i can work with? let's put it this way, can the evo be as reliable as the s2000?...because my main worry as reliability....i can have a evo or sti...and yes it's better than the S in a way....but will the car be as reliable?

I have heard horror stories about Mitsubishi Service and how difficult it is to get something covered under warranty.
maybe today im going to be checkin out the sti, i'll see how i like it...i got about 2 months to decide what car to get...i'll be doing research around forums....i know the fast and the furious ricer movie blah blah but my dream car was the s2000 ever since i saw the black one with the vs body kit in the fast and the furious. anyways....i'll see what happens, good thing i got time to think about what i want, so i won't regret what i buy.
