Fedex Passport - costly but great service. But, for the distance, I would say drive it.

you can make that drive in 3 days, two nights and it can be one fun road trip. I drove cross country once and it was one of the best experiences I ever had.

I used FedEx Custom Critical. Seriously, you can fedex your car!

The truck was sweet, remote control, elevators, etc...I believe each car could be moved individually.

Edit: Seattle to LA? screw shipping it, drive that thing down highway 1 and enjoy yourself!

Talk about moving...im gonna move soon as well. I'll be moving from houston to Sacramento, California. Thats about 2000 miles. I think im gonna drive it and just ship my stuff. I also thought about just renting a pickup truck of some sort from a rental company like hertz, enterprise and etc etc and just getting a trailer to tow my car with. But i dunno so far what to do. I think i might just drive it. Still thinkin on it.

But i think u should just drive it man....

A couple options for shipping your stuff inexpensively are Pods and ABF. With both of them you load and unload your stuff and they transport it.

Joe and Lenny have moved a few cars for me - give them a call - 212-555-0970

Seriously though, if I were you I would PODS your stuff and then take the opportunity for a drive - how often will you get the chance to do such a drive? I can tell you it will be much more enjoyable if its just you in a car versus you in a truck with your car in tow.

Did you actually read the complaints? 1/2 of them are compliments that show up as "complaints". Have you ever used uShip? If you use a reputable shipper (very easy to do) with feedback, you probably won't run into any problems.

Btw, where do you go to school and what is your major? Everyone needs to know every time you post.

If I do move I won't have a lot of stuff to go with me actually so I'll take everything in the car.

Actually you might even want to make a small investment (maybe $2000) as a "moving expense" and add a hitch and small trailer to carry a few extra things and make the trip more fun .....

Take a look at these threads to get familiar with what others have done RE: a hitch, trailer, towing and or bike rack .......
