CEL 2ndary to post cat O2 sensor

Default CEL 2ndary to post cat O2 sensor

will a CEL caused by an absent post cat 02 sensor put the ecu into a safe mode?

I think "no" for the O2 sensor in the cat. Use a 42009 and you won't have to worry about a CEL period.

I agree that he should be more specific...

Here is the "42009" that he is talking about.

It's a part# to a Fouler..

i always heard people tellin me to do that, but i couldn't picture it but not it is crystal clear.

I don't know that you can be any clearer than a part number? J/K, I should have mentioned that it is the little sparkplug antifouler that you buy at Pepboys etc. Drill one of the sections out with a 1/2" drill bit. Insert the drilled out 42009 into non-drilled out 42009 (they come two to a package). Insert the o2 sensor into the drilled out 42009 and no CEL.

Factory torque spec for the O2 sensor is 33 ft/lbs, I just gave it a nice hard twist (used a little antiseize on the threads too) and it seems fine.
