A paintless dent removal (or PDR) can't remove a dent that close to a corner. I've never heard of a warranty that covered body damage, but this one sounds like they will cover all PDR stuff, and only if it can be repaired via PDR. Now, for the love of god, and the American Working Man, STOP SHOPPING AT FREAKING WAL MART!!!

[QUOTE=S_Sense,Feb 7 2008, 05:31 PM] I HATE THIS!!!
I am going through almost the same thing right now! I bought my car Dec. 15. 07. I have worked out of town about a total of a month (Company vehicle). On 2/3/08, I drove the car for 3 hours just cruising(mild traffic) Let it sit for an hour then went to the grocery store and wouldn't shift into 6th. I drove it to Honda on Monday and I was told it was covered (It's certified for 1 year bumper to bumper and remainder of 100,000 drivetrain. TWO WARRANTIES). I got a rental (supposed to be covered under warranty) Got a call the next day and said it was not covered because it was a synchronization gear. I said "i've had the car a month and a half!?!?" He called Honda back and they said they would cover the repair but not the rental!. (About half of my car payment!) They said only because I had the car a short period of time that they would repair it and that there was no way I could have worn the synchronization gear for 6th in that time. I said OK but shouldn't that mean its covered. They acted like they were doing me a favor for half following through with their promises! I came home to read over my paperwork of my warranties (I havent had time since being out of town so much) and realized I never received any when I bought the car. I'm getting copies tomarrow and reading them. Starting to piss me off though

It sounds like the warranty only covers dents they can pull out with the plunger from the mens room. Glad you could get it convered. I'll have to remember that the extended warrenty I was stupid enough to buy covers stuff like this. I'll have to see if I can get some of the paint chips on my front fixed.

Yea, dumb move on my part. Wal-Mart for me is like a twice a year thing. Normally go to Target but its on the other side of town. I just needed toothbrush and deodorant.

$1100? That seems extremely expensive for such a small area. A new bumper only costs $6-700. It really is amazing what body repair costs these days...

If you financed the warranty with the purchase of your car then you will NOT get any money back. They money will go to bank to pay off your loan. I wanted to cash out on the warranty but the dealship said the money has to go to the bank.

I bought my S2000 from Holmes Honda (Bear Goodman sold me the car) and they were great from start to finish. Glad to hear they went to bat for you.

It's worth possibly spending a bit extra at a dealership, knowing that they'll back you up in the future.
