Certified Plus
Today I got in contacts with the General Manager. He made the final decision of covering the repairs 100%. This is for real this time. No cross of information anymore. Holmes Honda has stepped up to the plate and has given the quality of services I've always seen from them. I hate that it took all this to get to that point but I know what they are about. We as a family have done a lot of business with them and have always loved their location. I was educated on the roots of the policy and I will continue to keep my business with them.
To educate everyone. They never told us where the $500 was coming from that they were going to apply to the repairs. The $500 was actually coming from the Certified Plus company. Its a deductable that is paid towards Collision damage if you are unhappy with the PDR. You can only use this a small number of times in a 5 year period. I was told today that the actual reason why it was not covered was because for the fix to be like new. It would require them to actually pull the hardtop out and paint all the way up under the rubber sealant. Otherwise, if the Body shop painted up the the actual rubber lining and stopped. He would possibally get paint on the rubber lining and the paint would eventually have the possibility of chipping. To make it a like new repair. Most of the labor is because the hard top has to be taken off for painting.
So Holmes Honda is going above and beyond to give great service. Either way, its comforting to know they are finally doing the right thing.
