CF hood

who was that guy that made vents in his stock hood? It looked super clean. I am thinking of finding a stock hood and trying it out

Leave it stock.

Most the CF hoods available weigh more than the OEM hood. If you like the look of CF than go for it.

I just took my OEM style cf hood off and put my stock back on. The CF was lighter than stock but the fitament sucked. I hated being able to see the yellow battery terminals with the hood closed.

Whether you should get it or not really depends upon whether or not you like the look of it, and we probably can't decide that for you. Either way though, make sure that the fitment isn't too bad before buying it.

I like the CF hood look with vents. My CF hood is a little heavier then the OEM but my K&N FIPK now pulls air right through the vents on the hood so the increased performance is worth the +2-3lbs. Plus it is sweet, after a long spirited drive, to see the heat waves coming off of the hood
