changes in behaviour since you're driving an s2k ?
My neighbor dropped his tennis racquet while checkin' out my 'fake' brake ducts with his right hand, grabbling handful of 'Keys' very close to the bumper. My eyes follow every move he makes in such a careless manner. I sweat... I NEVER drop things or even hit my car myself!!! Stay away!
I got a problem keeping 'by-passers' away from ma car. I am obsessed, big time
Man, sometimes I wish I could get rid of the car just to be FREE

Since I bought my S2000 I have noticed:
1) A lot of faster cars try to race you.
2) You have friends that you havent heard from in a while coming out of the wood works to ask for a ride or borrow your car.
3) Car shops wanting you use the car at shows.
4) People asking what kinda car is it.
5) Everywhere you go people look at your car.
6) I am always cleaning my car
7) People asking how much do these cars go for.

I have to agree with you and with everything that has been posted here. I end up driving wa further out of the way than I have to when I go out. Also, I get more people revving on me to try to race them.

since this thread seems to be generating more dark personal secrets than most 12 step program confessions i might as well add one more.
our business just added a new security camera system in our parking structure. i have the software on my desktop that enables me to view thru any of the cameras in the structure. i think you know where this is going. i found the one spot in the entire structure where my baby is viewed by 3 cameras. i'm pulling up the window for the cameras all day long obsessively switching views and freaking when someone parks next to me. i've actually run out to her to protect her doors when it looks like she's in trouble. i'm the freakin ceo....i should be setting a better example!!!
have i hit bottom? is there hope?
ps - acx, i like the land far,far away comment.

okay..I will play along..
1) I used to have a lease car that I wouldn't wash for 3 months at a time - now I feel guilty if I go 1 week..
2) I will not park my car in the garage at work unless I can find that perfect "isolated" corner spot...
3) My wife thinks I am pathological at how much I talk about this car....
4) My wife thinks I am pathological at how much time I spend on S2KI.com
5) Never before have I spent "excessive" money on car wash, wax, towels and leather products
6) Purchasing premium gasoline at a big name gas station would have been considered a waste of money six months ago, now I won't take anything less than the best in my car
7) Compulsion to check the oil and the tire pressure at EVERY fillup.....never EVER did this before...I guess I figured that the Jiffy Lube guys could take care of that for me every 3500 miles...
8) I would kill myself before taking my S to the Jiffy Lube guys....
9) This is the only car that I am considering spending THOUSANDS of dollars to modify for minimal benefit..
I could go on and on...
oh, BTW, did I mention I was pathological?
