changing spark plugs
Well I received my new spark plugs today but I don't have a torque wrench. Is it a big concern to use a torque wrench? Can I tighten it by hand and if so how would I know when to stop? I don't have a manual yet. Thanks for any help.
lostsol,
You should definitely purchase a torque wrench and shop manual. A good investment if you plan on other DIY projects. The plug recall was due to faulty crush rings and therefore you have a new plug that needs the proper torque. You will find good directions on this site/do a search on plug recall. I think the proper torque is 16-18ftlbs.
