My check engine light came on a couple weeks ago and just recently the "maintenance required" light came on too. Do you guys have any idea whats the problem? I took it to Honda but they said I had to make an appointment and said its 79.99 just to see what the problem is. I think 80 bucks is a lil steep just to find out the problem. Any help would be great. Btw its a my2000 w/ 14000 miles stock

 

go to autozone. get them to read the error code. do it fast it might be a serious problem..... better safe than sorry,......the maintenence light is no problem but the CEL may be serious

 

The fact that your check engine light came on a couple of weeks ago should outweigh the $80 to spend to see what the problem might be. I'd get it in there A.S.A.P..
