You guys may not like this story, but here's the details.

9 of us, 4 cars, 1 truck and the rest on foot chasing 3 kids running from us on foot. We eventually caught them and messed them up real good. I grabbed 1 of the kid's shirt from behind trying to keep him from running, then my friend suddenly hit him so hard in the face that the kid's shirt ripped in my hands and he fell to the ground (I didn't expect this). The other kid got shoved into the wall by 2 guys and punched in the gut, while the other one got slapped (open hand) and hit in the head repeatedly by my drunk friend. It was interesting to see that each of the kids looked like they were going to die since my friends were pretty upset about their cars getting egged.

Man, it was (a little too) brutal... my friend broke 1 kid's nose (not sure if it's really broke but it was bleeding a lot and looked crooked), busted part of his teeth and hit the kid in the back of the head a lot of times while the kid's head was still on the middle of the road faced down. I tried my best to hold back my friend Joe, all 250 pounds of Filipino-Samoan mass to no avail... he kept swinging at the kid with me hanging on his arm trying to hold him back. Joe realized later that the kid stopped moving, his eyes were disoriented (looked like he was dizzy but worse), and bleeding all over his face. The other 2 kids were crying since they got off easier, Joe's car got hit with 3 eggs in his 1 year old Tundra so that kid was the worst off.

I'm still not proud of this event, but the kids got what they deserved.

there is no such thing as karma.

sorry to those of you that depend on "karma" to get retribution, or rewards for that matter.

life is what you make of it, not what karma delivers.
I'm not saying I'm just going to lay back and do nothing. I just believe some things, we've got control over, but others, we don't. I call it Karma, you call it what ever you want. Anyway, I'm not going to sit here and discuss religion with you--this is a car forum, where the only "religion" is automobiles. In which case, you, along with the other idiot kids, violated that which was most sacred. Will you get what you "deserve?" I don't know, and personally, don't give a rat's a$$. Seriously, I hope nothing happens to your car, but when it does....oh, well.

They looked like either right out of High School or in college maybe (but I doubt it).

I'd guess around 17-20 for the age. The smallest kid (who I had) was 5'7, around 110 poundish, the second was same height but fat (200 pounds?), the guy who got really messed up in the head was an asian guy, 5'10-5'11 around 175 pounds maybe but this last guy took a swing at Joe when he asked him why the f___ he egged his truck. The kid said something that sounded wise and Joe kicked the ___ out of the kid and didn't lay off which had me worried.

Seriously, that was a little too harsh, man. Beating on someone's head is a highest sin against nature. The human head is as fragile and critical as a pregnant woman's stomach, so beating on someone's head is just WRONG! One can beat on the body and stuff, but leave the head alone. And in addition, when the kid was already lying face down? Your friend wanted to kill or damage that kid's brains? That is just stupid and brutally barbaric. And you think they deserved that kind of a brain-damaging beating for egging? What is wrong with you? Yes, they deserved a beating to the body, but not the head. If I was that kid's father and he suffered some kind of a head damage, all 9 of you would be shot to death. I'd hunt each one of you down and shoot you at pointblank. Beating on the head is the most wrongful thing to do to any human being.

I have a 320-lb Tongan (similar to Samoan) friend, and if he was beating on someone's head like that, God knows I would shove him out of the way or kick him in the balls to stop him before he permanently damaged that person's brains, if not killed fatally.

Again, egging does not deserve a brain-damaging beating. Think about it!!!

I agree. That's why I've stated that I'm not proud of what happened. My car was spared, (although it did get egged once on another occasion). I wanted to help catch the kids which I did. I grabbed 1 of them but the events after that is something I didn't expect nor had any capacity to control. My friends were acting out of anger since it was their cars that got egged. I can't blame them for being upset, and yes, I will beat anybody down 1 on 1 if I had the chance to catch the one who egged mine, in the head, the face or whatever. If my son got beaten down through his own stupidity, my reaction to him would be "good for you, what did you expect from doing what you did dumbass..." you're lucky they let you off so you could come home. Some people don't learn easily and although nobody deserves a bad beating, that's what it may take sometimes. You have to pray that you don't get into this kind of situation, and you do that by not starting something you can't handle in the end.

I tried my best to get between Joe and the kid. You won't be able to stop a pissed off 250 pound dude when he's determined and numb from alcohol. Joe was drunk, and his car got egged 3 times (the worst out of all the cars) and that kid deserved to get whatever. I don't care what you say or what you'd do if you were the father. If you came up to my friend Joe, he'd likely beat you and whoever else shows up if you had a problem with him beating down your kid if it was through your kid's actions that caused this to happen in the first place. If my car got egged by your son, I beat him up and you came to me complaining about how you had a problem with the ethics behind how your kid got beat up, I think you need to take another look at the cause and effect.

The bottom line is, don't start something if you can't handle the consequences. Nobody put a gun to any of the 3 kid's heads and told them to egg anyone's car. They made a choice, and every choice has a consquence. You need to be responsible for the actions that you take.

If you think that's bad, ask any surfer who's visited the North Shore of Oahu near Ehukai Beach (Pipeline), Off the Wall, or Sunset Beach during a big swell. It's not a myth about what happens to a "Haole" who thinks he's hot sh-t and owns the waves. They'd take the drop on a good sized wave and end up taking their last in a long time.

Mother nature serves up the worst of all beatings when you're falling off a 30 foot face followed by tons of rushing water onto shallow reef, and getting finished off by the heavy shorebreak.

That may be true, but if you don't want a brain-damaging beating, don't egg anyone's car. Simple, think about it.

So far my car has had it's antenna stolen, dust cover stolen, sidemarkers stolen, words " You" imprinted boldly on the engine hood, and now that I think about a certain event, my tire was slashed. I thought the flat was caused by a piece of tire that I ran over the freeway, but every mechanic that looked at the tire said it was slashed. Plus, I don't see how a ran-over tire can cause a straight tear on my sidewall. The damages accumulated to over $500. During those times, I was wondering of all the possible brutalities that I could inflict upon those heathens, and still upon this day that rage still manifests inside my darkest desires. I hope the whole neighborhood knows about those snot-nosed kids.

p.s. The time is about 2:23 am and I just came back from work. I really don't know what the hell I'm saying, plus a bird sh1tted on my front window during the drive back. Damn birds....

Have to agree with Paul...Call it what you want but it will come back to you in some way, shape or form...Yea, you can "hope" nothing happens to your car but if anything does, just think back about what you did...It sucks but now you know what it's like to be on the other side of the fence.
