Yes, I understand that Joe was angry and drunk, but that wouldn't fly with me if I were the father of the kid who got a brain damage from it. I wouldn't care if Joe was a 1000-lb gorilla, I'd hunt him down and put a clean shot right between his eyes. Then one by one, I'd do the same to the 9 of you. Afterwards, I'd take my life. That's just a hypothetical talk because I'm not a father and I hope to God that stupid shit will never happen. But a father's gotta do what a father's gotta do.

Yeah, I never disagreed that the eggers deserved a beating, but not a life-threatening or brain-damaging beating. Understand? Btw, say if the kid got a brain damage or hemorrhage from the beating, Joe would be locked up for a long time because the law would also see my way. But yeah, eggers are stupid.

Wouldn't karma sort of be those kids getting their asses kicked for egging a car? So isn't the universe even now?

I don't usually post in this forum but it's Monday and I am at work very bored.

I've read the entire post and I saw a lot of intelligent replies. I'll just say the kids who got beat down got what they deserved, head shots and all.

What really got my attention was the whole karma deal.

Well heres my karma story. Sorry its a long read but it will explain my version of karma. This was about 12 years ago and I was in high school.

I was at my girlfriends house one night and walked outside to my truck just as some assholes were doing a drive by egging on my truck. I recognized the car right away and ran out in front of it before they could get away. I instantly recognized the passenger who was throwing the eggs. He was a little 90 pound wetback that went to my school. I had problems with him before. I was fired up and ready to kick his scrawny ass until 3 more guys got out of the car. We had a few words and I backed off. I wasn't about to get beat down by a bunch of wetbacks. They drove off. So my girlfriend calms me down and we wash the truck. Later on that night when I get home I notice more eggs only this time they are all over my parents house. I was really pissed off now and had a hard time sleeping that night. But eventually time goes by and you forget.

Fast forward about 7 years later.

It's a Friday night and me and a couple friends are picking up some beer at the local liquor store. I had just moved back after being away for about 4 years. I'm standing in line and about 2 people ahead of me theres a guy who looks very familiar. It takes me a few minutes but then I remember who he is. Seven years can really change a person. The guy is still scrawny but he looks like 40 years old now. He's wearing some kind of mechanics uniform, like jiffy lube or something. Guess he has had a rough life since high school. I put the beer back and went outside to my buddys truck and waited for the guy to come out. I explained to the guys with me who I just saw in the store and of course they are thinking what I'm thinkin. My friends are a tight bunch. I grew up in a very rural part of Califonia. Lots of dairy farms and empty roads. So we start following this guy and lucky for us he is headed down in to the dairy farms. The friend of mine who is driving pulls ahead of the guy like he is passing and then slams on the brakes forcing this guy to stop on the road. Like the dummy he was seven years ago the idiot gets out of his car all pissed of like he's some kinda bad ass. I get out and start walking towards the guy, he knows who I am right away. He tries the old "hey dude, whats up" line like we are friends or something. He looks worried. Before I had a chance to do anything my best friends fist went flying past my head straight in to the mexicans nose. My friend smacked the guy so hard he bounced of of his own car and landed on me almost knocking me down.

Well the guy is on the ground now looking up at me like a scared 10 year old or something. I asked him if he has been egging peoples houses lately. I told him this wouldn't be happening right now if he had left my parents house out of it. His nose was bleeding pretty bad and it was definitely broken. I told him to get up. I told him this would be a one on one fight and that my friends would not jump in.
The guy started crying and refused to get up. At first all I wanted to do was beat this guy to a pulp but now I felt sorry for him. I told my friends lets go. We left as he was sitting on the ground.

One of my buddys saw the guy a few months later and told me the guy had a scar across his nose. Good for him, I hope it serves as a daily reminder of what a dick he was.

I was heading to my mom's for dinner, cruising slowly.

At the light a 15 yrs old stopped side by side w/me, guy started reving and reving....I ignored him.

after couple attempts he got pissed off and started yelling at me, "yo are you too pussy to race? haha your car is gay anyways", light turned green, I VTEC'd it, 10 secs later he disappeared in my rearview mirror and never showed up again.
