WHAT'S THE PROBLEM ?

1- My engine is the weakest of the s2k engine ?
2- I have a lightweight flywheel, is this the reason ? I remember when i bought the car ( 8000 miles on it ) i was chirping in sec. with the normal flywheel, but the temperature was much colder !!!

I dont see much mention of such activities either on our forum or in discussions with other Aussie drivers.

Personally I would rather maintain full traction and use this traction to travel forwards, preferably quickly, and not behind other drivers.

For some reason I seem to chirp second more often after hard launching first, it seems to not happen as often if I soft launch from 1500. Maybe hard launching first gets my adrenaline flowing and I instinctively do an aggressive 1-2 shift. Who knows.

Dave, two things:
1. These guys get their licence at 15 whereas here in Victoria you get a licence at 18 (17 for NSW) - 3 massive years of maturity.
2. Our S2ks cost us $80k vs $32k. I can't think of one teenager who could afford to spend that sort of money in Australia - not even rich parents are dumb enough to do that for their children.

People buy S2K for its traction, not to lose traction.

Recently, there are lots of S2K owners on here that might have bought the wrong car.... ....very sad.......

Well the 350Z might get some good tire spin, but if you absolutely, positively want tire spin from a stock car, the 2003 SVT Cobra, with it's rated 390 ft lbs of torque and 390 hp(more like 425) is the only way to fly (for a car in the price range of the S2K....

I have no problem chirping 2nd. I can shift at 8k and still chirp 2nd. And sometimes chirp 3rd. My car has 1500 miles. I'm also a mile high above sea level.
