The reason why most of us bought this car - a thing called "FUN"! And just to see if you can. Not everyone goes around "racing" all over the place. Not everyone goes around on the street needing to extract every point of "G". A few of us drive this car just for the fun and excitement of it.

Here is a "copy and paste" of my response to the same question in another thread:

"Different people may call it by different names and some may even interchange names so it kinda depends on who defines it. There's power shifting, hammer shifting, speed shifting, & probably a few more I've long since forgotten from my drag racing days.
One is where you would do the usual fast shift but NOT let off the gas - it stays floored. I believe this is the most common understanding of power shifting. Another is where you would leave both the clutch and throttle alone and "ram" the gear box into the next gear - very dangerous but do-able. I don't think this car can take it. Yet another one is where you would lift up only slightly on the gas and only push the clutch down just enough to partially disengage it - a little safer, but I still wouldn't try this on the S."

I often chirp downshifting into second and especially from second to first. When breaking a bit hard and all the load upfront going from 3'rd to 2'nd i can get the tires to chirp.
Is this a bad thing?
