Chrome Exhaust Tip Fitment Question

Would the chrome oval finisher tips on the MY04-05 fit on earlier model exhaust tips? Has anyone tried this yet? Sorry, First post as a newbie!!! Thanks for all your help in advance. Chris K.

If I remember correctly they did just fine. Which is why ppl are always looking for those tips. I THINK I saw a pic. dont remember where.

one thing i noticed is that on the 04+ exhausts they drill a hole through the pipe for you to screw the screw through it for the tip... whereas the pre 04s just have you screw the tip in as hard as you can against the pipe

either way it works, but i like the hole being drilled better

hmm.. that sounds kinda raunchy.
