Well as I was pulling out my car charger from the plug I noticed the back part that screws on had come loose...how do I remove the panels to get to that part so that I can rescrew the back piece on?

 

Happened to my '00 but I got my '04 before I ever fixed it. That console, however, isn't too tough to get off, just be careful with the snap mounts.

 

Same thing happened to me, take off the panel behind the driver's seat and pull the back console up. You can then sqeeze your hand behind it and put the thing back on. You have to have patience but it can be done. Good luck.

 

same thing happened to me too. i don't even use it much. just for my cell phone occasionally. thought i was too rough with it. guess it's a regular problem. I'm gonna try your suggestion and put it back on tomorrow.
