Class Action for Defective Rear Window Is a Reality
I'm sure glad I got my order in for a '02 S2!
If this lame class action suit amounts to anything I would imagine you have cause everybody else to pay more for a new S2000 because AHM will increase the price to cover the loss on this lame suit. Just off the top of my head I wonder if you will spend more of your time and pay out more money in attorney/court fees on this lame suit than it would cost to just replace your entire soft-top. Did I mention I thought this was a lame suit?

HHH:
For the record, and in extreme deference to your request I will henceforth consider your post a flame and I will walk around wondering if I am liable to spontaneously explode. I am glad you contribute such eloquence to the thread.
Brandon.

I think any lawyer who thinks this case will go somewhere might find a job as a court stenographer more suitable. This is precisely the kind of case that clogs up the legal system with frivolous matters. Your lawyer, the fool, also has a fool for a client.
We certainly don't want to do business with you, and I think every other vendor on this board will probably conclude the same. We're probably next...

Sorry, I forgot to put that in the original message (I have amended it now).
This is a contingency fee case with all actual costs being fronted by the attorney. For those of you who are familiar with litigation, you should understand what that means regarding the likelihood of recovering money damages.

While you're at it.. why dont you do what BayS2k said and file
for the paint chips & worn out tires...
And if others can keep their windows in good shape.. I dont see
why you can't do it...
Are you going to sue Honda if you're engine breaks down b/c you
didn't put in any oil????

Good luck...but I have one thing to say, and it was already mentioned...
Many convertible cars, even very expensive ones (Boxsters to 360 Modenas) have plastic rear windows.
If your case is simply for cosmetic reasons, I really don't think your case will end favorably for you.
However, if you raise safety issues with plastic v. glass, that's a different story.
But again, Honda is not the 1st or last company to use plastic rear windows in convertible cars.
Good luck.
