Hmmm. Let's see . . . Two model years . . . Approximately 5000 U.S. units per model year . . . Rough estimate, let's say, $500 to retrofit a glass window onto each unit . . . that's 2 x 5000 x 500 = $5 million. Gee, if I'm AHM do I think I'll spend $1-3 million to bury your contigent claim attorney or actually settle at a cost of $5 million??? Bon chance!!

Yea, what's up with that. I was down in Orlando on business last week and every other freaking commercial was some lawyer looking for lawsuits. I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of lawyer commercials, but I must have seen as many lawyer commercials in one week in Orlando as I have seen in the whole last year elsewhere.

Of all the reasons for supporting or not supporting this exercise, worrying about what Honda thinks about its customers is one that I really don't understand. Honda has seldom, if ever, cared a whit about what its customers concerns were. I've followed this board, and its predecessors, from inception, and I've seen countless instances of many of you carrying on about one thing or the other. Remember the hue and cry when Hesel couldn't use the S2000 logo? Remember the incessant bitching about the 2nd gear grind? Remember the 4th cylinder problem? Throw in with this or not, but do what you do for some reason other than worrying about Honda's feelings.

silly lawsuit...

if anyone from AHM is reading this...i will be happy to testify on Honda's behalf if this crap every reaches any court in the land. i am close enough to your Torrance office that i'll swing by on my time and do a quick taping or get something down in writing...and since i see a s2k like almost daily out here in socal, i bet there are others locally too that would do the same. i'm sure i'm not the only one. just PM me when you need me.

I support your right to act like a fool and join the legion of ridiculous lawsuits filed to no avail, I just don't agree that it's an appropriate course of action. If your window has scratches, get it replaced under warranty.

Your attorney's motives, however, are much more questionable IMO.

This is absurd! It's like saying you'd sue because your paint gets swirl marks! Or that your wiper blades wear out!

curious if brandon still drives his car?
I am not a lawyer and could be wrond but wouldnt it kill his chances of winning if he still drives it sionce he says their is a problem but yet still drives it?

i had a nail in my tire and i had to get it patched today, i say we go after bridgestone too while were at it and sue them for making a tire that can go flat.....ask your lawyer if he will take my case on too, that is if its contingency fee as well? lol

DOnt stop there either, sue honda for not making the roll hoops taller, being 6'1" i dont feel so safe in it

Brandoncummings is the kinda guy who gets hit in the head at a baseball field by a foul ball and tries to sue!

I do not agree with 'class action' lawsuits. The only winners are the attorneys. Everyone else involved looses. AHM has worked with me for the last several months over major problems with my car, so I do not agree that they do not care about their customers. I have a very early model year 00 and just recently my rear window has developed a slight crease, which the dealer would replace if I chose. I have always taken care not to lower the top without first cleaning the window, and no- I do not have a mat. I think you will see that your 'attorney' will be the winner if this suit proceeds... You knew the car had a plastic window when you purchased it. (as do many other convertibles, as stated previously) You have the right to sue anyone in this country...but frivilous lawsuits are a nusiance, and clog the court dockets, delaying suits who have merit. I consider this a frivilous lawsuit. I wish to 'opt out' of this suit.
