Lest this thread degenerate completely, I will refrain from further posting. I hope all participants have the commonsense to decide for themselves the best decision in this matter.

I genuinely feel that Honda's refusal to correct the problem, i.e., by providing new owners with the means to prevent the damage in the first place--say a muz mat--warrants the pending litigation.

Making decisions based on unrational fear (i.e., you might sue me next) is juvenile. This is a singular situation. As above this will be my last post in this thread. You may feel free to flame me, though, as you deem appropriate.

Thanks,

Brandon.

OMG.. What a joke..

You seriously need something to do. What next!? Sue because there is carpet on the center console? Or how about the fact that they didn't make an automatic? You know clearly honda is discriminating against people who can't drive stick.

Shit nobody told me about the secret compartment I could sue about that too right?

I think we could sue about lack of torque too. Clearly they should have given us a V6 so that we could have more torque.

Nothing like wasting peoples time so you can get the $6.70 towards a glasss window after the lawyers take all the money from honda.

this dude should be considering lawsuits also
Have you read the book? It's a light-hearted romp about domestic terrorism, which is taken very seriously by Earth First!, the Animal Liberation Front, and other whackos. The guy in Phoenix who spent a couple of years burning down houses near nature preserves is supposed to be a big fan of Abbey.

I wouldn't have kicked him off his flight, but I would done a d*mned good search on him, just in case.

Remember freedom of speech here folks and keep it clean and respectful....that is why this board is so great!

I could go either way on this one, I hate frivolous lawsuits......but additionally I know that Honda has issued a service bulletin to replace the plastic one; one time (dealer discretion)..... and now the glass rear window on the '02? I have a minor crease in mine which does cause distortion (fortunatley I only drive in fair weather) and never look through it unless I'm backing into the garage after washing. Neither my step father's Porshes(3) or his Miata have this problem....and yes he bitched about it when he visited. Did Honda change to glass (at the expense of weight I might add) because of folks bitching and wining or because of an accident or two folks here don't know about? While most class actions result in just a few bucks others result in retrofits (i.e. glass rear windows for all). I might add I have been involved with the last two largest aircraft retrofits in history with one more on the way; two were the result of class action suits...which got a large manufacturer to admit a design flaw. Once again I'm split on this one.

I know our friends in Japan will be on this thread....so....Kenichi....send me a PM...I promise I won't tell.

Frankly, I truely hope that the suit never reaches court and if it does, you lose. I said it in the last post and I'll say it again. This is exactly why we can't get criminal cases tried in court quicker. You have your right to do whatever you think is necessary but do not include me in your misplaced venture.

I'm disgusted, with the likes of you people who have nothing better to do than use misdirected logic to further your personal wishes. My rear window is fine and I have an early MY2000. Do us all a great favor and delete this thread.

When are you going to grow up and quit being a spoiled young kid. Logically speaking, do you realize that your little venture win or lose will probally cost the consumer another $300 to $500 on the cost of the next years model? So you get your damn window replaced and everyone else will be sucking hind tit because you couldn't maintain your first one appropriately.

Your worse than a spoiled brat. You can't get your way so your going to cry foul. You are the type of individual that makes a farse out of the American justice system. I'll bet that you went to your dealer and he told you no because you didn't take care of the first. Then you probably called the Honda Rep which called the dealer who said no, and than Honda said no. WAH get over it. There are many things in life that aren't going to go your way. Grow up and suck it up!!

Your not doing me a favor!

Brandon- I would not want you to spontaneously explode, but I would like this class action law suite to.

HHH, just where do you get this attitude? You don't even have a car no less one with an inferior window that degrades with use. I think you out of line. If Brandon wants to stand up for what he believes are his rights as a consumer using established legal procedures he has every right without taking crap from you and the rest.

Amen! Grow the F up, dude! I hope the judge reams you and your parasite, scum-sucking puss bag "lawyer" for wasting the court's time!

And I really can't stand these sue-happy "lawyers"who are constantly promising you free money via TV commercials and every other billboard in Orlando! Aaaarg!

Can you tell I hate evil lawyers?

JRM & others- Why does a difference of opinion among adults need to degenerate to personal attacks and name calling? I realize this can get emotional but can we try a little harder to keep it factual rather than personal?
