Cleaning inside of rear window
Griot's Garage sells a really handy tool. It is an articulated triangular piece of plastic on the end of a long handle. It comes with several types of elasticized bonnets that fit over it. You spray the window cleaner (or plastic polisher or Plexus) on it and you can get even the lower inside corners easily. Of course you need to fold down or remove whatever windscreen you have to get at the window.
It works great on any hard to reach rear window, even the one on my Volvo is hard to get at with the rear headrests and all in the way.

Hey, thanks for all the good suggestions. I think the Flyin Wedge body position should be the starting point for a big guy like me. I need to come up with a reaching tool to hold a Windex-moistened sponge or cloth. I did try the Flyin Wedge position earlier today, and I think I need to wait for my back to heal a bit more before I make the serious effort at reaching back at full stretch. There is no question that lowering the top does not help at all, since the glass window almost instantly vanishes under all the cloth.
