Default Glass Window Recommendations?

I just ordered a red 2002 S2K. It arrives in March. I have seen the posts on the plastic windows that recommend the roof well mat and the window tube to prevent scratching. Is this something I should invest in to protect the glass window as well????

Others will probably be able to help you out better, but I would say you shouldn't have any problems with scratching like those of us pre 2002 owners. Probably just keep the window clean.

I don't think you need to worry about that. I have a 02' S2000 and it was worth the wait!
The rear window is much smaller and takes down some of the rear visibility. But if you drive fast enough all you need to see is in front of you.

I went for another test drive this past Saturday. In the process, I had a look at how the window behaves on raising & lowering the top. At the bottom position, it ends up still sitting up at an angle, so it's never flat against the well or other parts of the top. Looks like it's safe from scratching, as far as I could see.
