Default Clear Corner Diffuser Installations...

it seems pretty complicated on the rick's how to manuel...having to bake the headlights and stuff...seems like a easy mess up. I noticed most people have them, so do you guys usually send it to rick's shop, or just do it at home...and is it as hard as it seems? thanks

try Wingman on Mid-A. He's the best. Many Cali guys do it as well.
D@mn this new site, I can't tell where you're located!!!

From what I heard, it's not that bad, but you do have to know what you're doing. There are some that did fry/baked the headlights and it had grill marks across the front lens, I thought that was funny.

Hello . The steps are straight-forward. However, with that said, there are, understandably, folks that feel less than confident about attempting something that could cost more to replace ($350 per headlamp shell from hardtopguy.com) if damaged during conversion effort. As GotS mentioned, a few unlucky souls have ventured into setting their oven accidentally to broil ...and in a few short minutes...presto-melto. But that warning aside, its all about following instructions to the letter, handling the conversion as though you have something quite valuable in your hands while you do it, etc.

Again, the procedures can be straight-forward if followed with patience and precision. Should that still has you second-guessing yourself, however, I've converted maaaaany board members' S2000s now. I'm Rick's service tech for corner clearing orders placed on his site. So if you're interested, please consider pursuing what Rick's site offers you through its Conversion option.

Thanks,
Dave
