Default Clifford alarm and parking light

I'm having a Clifford Concept 600 alarm installed as we speak and after the first part of the install(they didn't complete it last night), I noticed that when driving around during the day, the parking lights are on. I'm pretty sure I would have noticed this before but does anybody know if this is something that is controllable through the Concept alarm? I didn't want them installing the Nightvision portion that controlls the headlights and the installer said that he didn't. Any ideas?

Thx

Yeah I think he plugged the parking light flash cable into the wrong area on the fuse box. It needs to be in the top one, it sounds like its in the bottom one.

So is that an optional function or was it hooked up incorrectly to the fuse box?

Thx

the optional function he's referring to is the "NightVision headlight automation."

according to clifford, it can be programmed to:
-turns on headlight when driving at dusk
-turns them off when driving at dawn
-turns them on when wipers are on
-remote controlled timed headlight activation
-selectable timed post-parking illumination

if the lights are on during the day, then the installation is incorrect. however, if the lights turn on at dusk / night time, then you have the option enabled and can disable it per the manual.

personally, i hated the option and had it disabled after a few weeks.

when I got my concept 600 installed it did the exact same thing, all you have to do is turn that night vision thing off (worked for me). download the manual from clifford's website it will tell you how to do everything.
