Default Clutch Delay valve on drag racing

Drag races will be held this weekend, and I'm going to race my car.
I want to know how much of a difference would the CDV do on my time, because I was planning to keep it on but if it does affect a lot my time I might as well take it off.

What would you guys suggest?

take it off. the delay valve is meant to prevent damage to the diff and tranny, so your clutch pays the price in accelerated wear.

You want the clutch to hook up so you can break the tires loose. taking the valve off will make this much easier.

take it off. you will jsut burn your clutch and it will smell like crap.
i took it off and the clutch/shitting action is much better.

It would be the difference between a "clutch slip" start and a "clutch drop" start. It has been said that to get a really good ET on this car, you have to "launch the crap out of it". I seem to recall someone doing both with an AP1. The difference was between 1/2 second to 1 second.

ps. It has also been noted that you can't "launch the crap out of it" with the delay valve in.

I could be wrong, but don't we have a member who ran a 13.6-ish with an AP2 now and still had his valve in?
