Default Clutch Help

My clutch is starting to slip and since i am going to be putting in headers soon, might as well replace the clutch while the engine is out. My mechanic is recomending me to go with the ACT heavy duty clutch and pressure plate matched with their light weight chromoly flywheel. He just set me up with the same setup on my EF track car (but have yet to test it out).

How well does this work in a 01 AP1 with usually some hard daily driving (never any clutch drops or burnouts, just love the revs and tracking the car on every lap day I can make).

How well does the J's racing Hyper Single Clutch Kit work? better than the ACT?

or are there any others you guys are recomending which are proven to work well in an AP1 with moderate track use.

Since when do either of those mods require the engine to be removed

You don't have to take the engine out to do motor mounts either.

A "proven" clutch kit for this car is the one supplied by Hardtopguy - ACT HD PP, OEM disc, Comptech flywheel.
