Default clutch rattle tsb question

I bought a 2001 S2000 with the clutch noise at 3-4000 rpm on deceleration. It was used with about 14,500 on it and has about 15,500 on it now. Does anyone know about Honda's policy toward performing the work on a second owner car out of the 3/36 warranty?

Thanks.

It's not just a "Honda" policy but can be a "dealer" policy. You will never know till you go to a dealer and ask. Some people have gotten this TSB after the warranty was up because they were good customers of a particular dealership, while others were denied even when the basic warranty was in force. TSB's are not warranty issues as such but performed on an individual basis depending upon the owner/dealer circumstances. You may have to go to more than one dealer.
