I am hoping someone can help me with this... The other day I reved to 7K RPM and didn't drop the clutch but instead made the mistake of slipping the clutch. Boy did it smell bad. This is the first time I did this to my clutch, it smelled really bad...the car didn't go anywhere and the fuel cut off come one. Yesterday I drove the car again...and I can still smell the burnt clutch... Is this normal??? Will it go away...?

I get a good clutch smell often, but have had 34,000 miles on the same stock clucth. The SC is starting to make it worse, luckily the Comptech plate and disc are in the mail.

I burnt my clutch badly before on another car. It took a looonnnngggggggg time for the smell to go away, like a couple of weeks.
