combating ingorance
The 4 banger is solid and gives good driveability for a 4 banger. I test drove the 3.5 auto and have a friend with a manual 3.5. The 3.5 has a V6 and it is REALLY quick. It is by far the best bang for the buck performance sedan out there. You must drive one to appreciate it. However the car is in no way the same league or class as the S2K. I also think to compare 0-60 and 1/4 mile times is an injustice to the S2K even though it beats the Alty in both categories by almost a full second in each.
I didn't even know what I had bought untill I took the S2K to a track.
My whole reason in posting is how do you argue with someone who only thinks in a linear fashion?
Hmm.. I say we just let his thread die.... no response

To tell you the truth, half my time on forums is spent arguing. Not because I think I'll always win, but because sometimes you can educate people, and sometimes you can be educated. I like to argue, it's kinda fun.

A frigging Nissan Altima can't corner, brake, steering feel is shit, shifter is horrible, I don't care if it COULD kick an S2K's ass in a straight line. It's STILL a piece of shit!!!

Since I'm "busy" procrastinating here at work, I went and followed that thread. What rubbish.

I think it's painfully obvious who has and who hasn't driven an S2000 in that forum. I don't understand this whole garbage about the S2k having no power below VTEC. Sure 3k RPM's is nowhere near as strong as 8k RPM's but I find the S2000 has plenty of power down low.....it's a civic when you want it to be and a sports car when you want it to be.....that's what I like about it.
