I commute 52 miles each way or 104 miles roundtrip in the S. The kicker? I work from home 3 days a week so it's only driven twice a week as a commuter. 100 miles of that commute is interstate.

Though it's a small car, the way it takes command of a smooth interstate and always stays stable is really confidence inspiring. The seats are exceedingly comfortable to me, and while the road roar and wind noise is loud by other car standards, it is probably not much louder than other soft-top roadsters.

With the top down, the car is brilliant on the interstate and the wind management is good. Plus the horrendous blind spots are eliminated.

I have only driven in rain a little bit and even with brand new tires, you can certainly feel the lack of traction very readily through the car. Just take it slow in rain....

My DD is 7 miles each way, I 'm at work by 7:00 a.m. so traffic is very light at that time. There is a stretch going into I-95 from a sweeping right hand on ramp that sometimes depending on the traffic I can go thru the gears on the right lane and get it up to 90+mph and then merge onto the traffic at 80mph.
