Yes, s2000s are suppose to be faster than this car. Thats why its sad when I see rsx type s's pull on s2000s.

Like I said before. Stop walking around like your dick is big cuz you got an s2000. It's a great car, but it doesn't own the road.

I don't race my car in the streets like a ricer. I just bought the car 2 months ago. I'm a little disappointed in the power. Feels like a civic with 9k rpms.

I still love the car for the way it looks and how it handles. I'm just tired of teenagers who own s2000s thinking its the fastest thing ever because its a Honda.

Just face it, there are cars out there that can hang or even beat the s2000 with less hp.

Just click your hazards on so they can follow you, and lead them to some twisties. Then you can beat em forsure.

Ya like mini bikes and motor scooters, heck you can find anything on youtube (since it sounds like you swear by it). Since you dont "race your car like a ricer" why dont you take it to the track and learn what your car can do. Even if it is a drag or a auto cross event.

BTW ever drove a civic at 9k? Sounds like all hell is gonna break loose, in the S2K not so much lol.

A lot of ppl buy these cars and drive the shit out of it like its an ugly stepchild, but I don't have anything to prove to any ricers out there revving to me.

I'm just not biased because I own the car.

I understand your pain with "ricers revving at you." Who cares you drive a nice car people will want to see if they can take out what they view "the king of hondas." Heck your lucky you get ricers, in utah here i notice i get messed with by big diesel trucks, and most the time im top down and get smoked out. I also get every grocery getting peice of crap car wanting to race. Dont let it bother you.

Now for the comment you made about under hp cars beating up on the S2ks, i only view those as extreme cases. Lets be honest here we all know the s2k isnt a straight line monster and that wasnt the platform it was built on, but to say it get beat by cars like rsxs is crazy talk.

youngjoc,
my point was that the S2000 keeps up with heavier cars that have a higher hp rating. I agree that power to wieght ratio would be a better measure, but I wanted to state it simple. A Lotus with under 200hp will make both the integra and the S2000 look slow on the track and on the road, but it's under 2000lbs.
BTW the S2000 is good for most traffic light encounters not because it's the fastest car on the road. It faster because most people who race at traffic lights can't afford a faster car, because of age or stupidity. Myself excluded of course.
