Sorry for this late question: how long is the estimated install time, and what skills are required (backyard mechanic or certified professional)?

Thanks,
Howard

We are estimating 5-5.5 hours. It's a relatively easy instal, no special training required. There is a special Honda tool required for removing the crank damper. It's definitely recommended to have a factory service manual handy when doing this job.

My supercharger was installed yesterday 12-7-00 and will be on the dyno 12-9-00. I'll post numbers. The install took quite a while mainly due to unfamiliarity with the kit. Probably take half of that time now.

Jim,
I saw the Comptech dyno charts and torque was up to 177ft/lbs and 281hp (from 206). There were no stock torque readings from the dyno run.
Thats a big jump in torque but maybe the hp increase overshadows it????
Any other initial driving impressions?
I'm #3 on the SC list and hoping for one within a week or two.
Barry

Where did you see the dyno chart?
I thought Comptech hasn't released it!

I too am planning on the install, but I want to see numbers and real results from real people. I am looking for personal experience and reviews, not ones posted by someone trying to sell a product.
I guess thats the great thing about this site. We learn from each other.

Except for a slight whine from the supercharger and a much more aggressive than stock intake note, the car, under normal driving conditions, feels about the same. Once you hit 6k rpm it goes like you wouldn't believe and just screams up to redline.
