Default Confusion about s2000 wheels

I was looking at parts at

http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-03.html

today when I saw that the 00-01 wheels were listed seperately from the 02-03 wheels. The 02-03 wheels were more expensive. What is the difference between them? Because I didn't see any specs listed on the page, and am now very curious how it would effect the car.(if at all)

Edit: I was under the impression that they were identical.

I think the shape is the same...its the finish that's different.

also, JDM ones were slightly different...the spokes extend to the lip of the wheel, whereas ours don't.

I'll try to find a pic

here's a pic of the JDM OEM rim (not the optional BBS one) - see how the spokes extend all the way to the end....whereas the bottom pic, USDM, the spokes stop short of the lip.

DING DING DING!

The wheels are IDENTICAL except for their finish. Park an 00-01 s2k next to a 02-03 S2k and you'll notice a huge difference in the sunlight. One has a much more bronzed color compared to the other.

Actually, the 00-01 wheels differ in shape to the 02-03's as well. The 02-03's OEM wheels shade of silver is darker, with a little more metallic flake (hence they appear shinier). As for the shape, I'm not quite sure how to describe it...the 02-03's look very similar in basic shape, but the centre of the rim appears to be hollowed out a bit more, making the edge's of the spokes portrude a bit more. Its a poor explaination, but thats the only way I can think of putting it. I actually never even noticed this, until I had my s2k parked right next to my friends 00 s2k last week.
