Erm, no the shape is slightly different...just as I explained above. I had my 03 parked right next to my friends 00', and thats when I noticed it.
As "vampire" said...look at them in person and you'll see the difference.

I see S2000s of every year on a daily basis. I have an '01 and my roommate has an '02. They're parked next to each other every day. We have stock wheels lying all over our house.
They're the same except for the color.
Sorry.

My 2000 wheels are definitely different than the pics posted above, or 2002+ wheels I've seen around. The spokes appear "rounder" and don't have as sharp edges.

It's different in Europe. The '00-'01 wheels are the same as the USDM wheels. The '02-'03 wheels are the same as the JDM wheels pictured above.
In North America the '00-'01 and '02-'03 wheels all look like yours with the exception of the color.

Wow I never expected a debate, but thank you for the info.
The JDM wheels don't look as good to me, the wheels need the lip.
Just a thought the 02-03 wheels could appear to have a deeper indentation in the center because of the amount of light being reflected off, but in reality be exactly the same. Or it could have just been the lighting conditions at the time.
I find it interesting that they stuck with the old design for the american market, and came up with new wheels for the european market in 2002.
I guess I like darker wheels anyway, cause I would like gunmetal to go with yellow...Put on some nice competitions maybe...
Anyway thank you all for the info, it is greatly appreciated. I am much less confused now. hehe
