I'm in agreement with what a few others have already noted. Having already owned a couple of other ragtops in my youth, the S2000 was purchased to be used only during the warmer months when it can be driven with the top down and stored in a garage when not being driven. It's a great car, and being a Honda it is certainly more than capable of racking up some impressive mileage figures — so driving one on a daily basis is certainly a possibility. I respect those who choose to do so, but I personally wouldn't pay the current going rate for one of these cars in nice condition for such use myself. I also definitely wouldn't have bought an S2000 without an enclosed space where it could be kept when not in use.

Personally I Love My S2k, I bought a NFR AP1 with 170k two years ago daily drove it until it hit 200k, A month ago I replaced it With a MY05 AP2 with only 70k and I absolutely love it. I Obviously daily it and the top is only up if its actually raining. In all honestly these are great cars and if you can handle only having 2 seats a smaller trunk then you will be fine. As far as putting a car up for the winter it just depends on where you live. I'm In SC so our winters are very mild and I haven't seen snow or real ice in 3 years. That said having 2 sets of wheels with a set of all seasons and a set of summer tires really helps. These cars are actually decently comfortable to daily if your not a very tall or wide person and can deal with a small cabin space. 10/10 would recommend a S2k to pretty much everyone.
