Is it just me or is the console garnish (plastic that surrounds the instument cluster) gets easily scratched. On top of that when scratched, the underlying plastic looks greyish in color which makes the scratches pop-out, wtf

Anyway, any suggestions in how to cover up the scratches? I think the garnish itself is painted black and the plastic underneath is grey. BTW, mine is an 07.

 

Yeah mine is scratched to hell. I'm replacing it before selling the car. OK maybe not scratched to hell, but it's scratched :thumbdown: It's about $80+shipping from Majestic.

 

Honda needs to paint these things better
I might have to fork out that 100 at some point ... what a robbery

For now, I'll try to hide the scratches. Maybe I'll try some Sharpie on it today

Hmm. I'll try to look up some pictures of the painted instrument console garnish. The black paint Honda used suck (I think it's painted).
