i would consider cheaper FI solutions. i usually hear that a 300whp comptech supercharger or (better yet b/c of torque) greddy turbo kit can be had for around $3-4k. and that's a lot less money than selling your S to buy a C6 or dropping $10k in your
As a owner of both a C6 and a Supercharged S2000, the C6 will just kill the S2000 if every performance category. A turbo S2000 may put out good numbers, but be unreliable, never have the top speed capability.

Be prepared to spend some time on repairs because Consumer Reports says the Vettes are " Much Worse than Average" consistently thru the years!
Plus with all that extra speed how long before you rack up multiple speeding tickets?
If you want to have the most fun keep the S ! If you wanna go fast get yourself a bigger Turbo in a WRX STI . I know two buddies that have em and they say they can smoke Z06 's all day long.

I owned a 2005 C6 coupe and have had several S2000.If I needed a sports car that would be a daily driver I would pick the C6.Mine was a Z51 and it was a much more comfortable ride than my current 06' S2000 with way more storage space. They are extremely reliable and now come with a really great 100k mile warranty. The car is very fast and you have to use restraint since it begs to run (and that turns into triple digits very quickly). The fit and finish is really good and the price/performance can't be matched by any other car out there.
It is slightly more expensive to maintain than the S2000.Tires cost twice as much and they wear out quickly just like the S2k.
I sold mine because I needed the cash for the kids college and for me my sports cars are strictly toys/therapy so I bought another s2k and banked the 12grand I had left over from the C6 sale.I would love to get another some day but I really want a drop top and not a coupe so the funds are just not there right now.
It's fun to own different cars so my advice would be to buy the C6,it will be a new invigorating experience and much more reliable than a turbo s2k.

C6 zo6 is a great car. If I were to jump to a Vette I would prolly wait for a ZR1... As far as color I would go for white. I still havent seen a white one in person, definately not red, black or yellow theyre everywhere. Show us some pics if and when you get one!

if i had to spend 100k per car on 10 cars a vette would not be one of them,...they are cheap, creaky, plastic all over,.....this coming from someone who drives different cars all day,....... in all honesty id probably choose the srt 8 charger over it since they are both straight line cars imo,....i could beat a vette around a track anyways with the S

I'd drive it first. I'm not big into magazine racing. It's cool to see specs, but for a car like that, you definitely have to see if you like driving it, not just riding in a friend's.

I like corvettes in yellow, blue, and orange. Red is a bit played out for me.

Not a fan of the corvettes personally, but if it floats your boat. I would actually look into a used Cayman if I were to "upgrade." I've never been a big power fan.
