I started a thread about it a while ago just wondering what's on the market, initially asking about more expensive options. The focus ended up on racecars/racing. You may want to look through the thread:

I drove a C5 convertible (automatic), after driving the S2000, and really prefered the S. The C5 had the manual top, and it required exiting the car to raise or lower. It also felt huge. I have driven the C6 (automatic as well), and really liked it. It looked, felt and drove better. I would like to own one, but I cant afford it right now. If I was to get one though, I would get white with red leather.

"unfortunately a vette would probably dominate on the touge assuming the put equal amounts of money and Mods into the 2. The c6 vettes have amazing performance for the price. like someone said earlier, the vette is nothing but an upgrade from an s2k. I still choose my s2k for 1 main reason, its cheaper than a c6."
The vette has a V8 and weighs almost 300 kilos more than the s2k. With all that said, s2k suspension and balance is way superior to the vette. The vette will get his ass raped before drifiting off the cliff.
Watch more youtube touge clips if u wanna know how s2000's do on touge. Its about balance and not straight line speed.

LMAO at everyone saying the Corvette won't handle corners well. How many of you actually participate in some form of racing? Corvettes are a pretty popular choice.
Doesn't it also get pretty decent highway fuel economy?

The vette does get good mpg when you lay off the gas pedal , prob. better then the s2k . It does handle well , its supposed to get to .97g's on the skid pad . I havn't taken it that far yet but i do have hud (heads up diplay) in my car and it has a built in g meter. Buttt the s2k just feels like the better , tighter handling car. i drive my vette every day so i would know .
