I have the boot cover on my car for about a week now. It is easy to put on and take off for me once it gets into shape (the first time after a long time off the car will take some time to put on). But it does cut down on some visibility for me because I sit low in the seat and the boot cover is higher.

Is it just me, or is the boot a pain in the a$$ to put on?

While we are talking about the cover...

Do you guys leave the top down for extended periods of time with the cover on?

Overnight in the garage or for several days at a time?

I've seen other threads where it seemed the consensus was to put the top up whenever possible.

This is a little off-topic, but I would really like to see a boot that covers the soft top, with the hardtop in place ... you know, to cover the folded soft top and keep dirt out. Has anybody seen anything like that?

I would like to hear more about this.

I got the boot on on Saturday and have kept it in place, with the top down, since. I am hoping it will stretch it a little.

It takes a whole 2 minutes to put on, but yes it can be a pain in the arse. I only put mine on when the forcast for the next few days is clear.

After a while, it isn't so bad but a slight hassle. You can put in on in 2-4 minutes. I think it looks clean and sharp with the boot than without it. That's the part I like about the Boxster.

I think the last time mine was on was when I drove the car home from the dealership.
