Default Convertible Seals Being Replaced?

i brought my car last week to replace a cracked left front speaker but also for the driver side convertible seal where there's a noticeable difference in the gap compared to the passenger side seal. My questions is, how well will it hold up when they fix it, will i have more problems later down the line versus just leaving it alone? the location of the gap is the break when the top is down.

I don't know, but I'm curious: how do they plan to fix it if they aren't replacing it?

It's a simple fix. The seals simply press into groves. It can be done in about 10 minutes. I don't see them even being able to mess that up.
