I dont even know if my top goes up... how does it work? Only time the top goes up is when its raining... and the car never sees rain. Ive driven with the top down below freezing. -10 degres C.

i think the convertable part of the S2000 is probably the LAST reason i bought the car. i wanted it for its amazing engine, glove like fit, amazing handling, and true balance.




















oh ya, and the roof folds down. wow.

I voted convertible.
I can't justify driving with the top down in rain, though. Small sprinkles maybe, but I care about the appearance of my seats. I just don't feel too comfortable at a stoplight or during stop and go traffic with water pouring down on my leather seats.

I still challenge anyone to clearly show how the S2000 would lose much weight as a coupe. It just doesn't make much difference for cars orig. designed as convertibles. I predict there would be minimal weight difference in the two bodies, and any savings would be at least partially offset by a higher center of gravity.
