coupe model S
Weather permitting, I like the soft top instead, and it's only up when I'm going to be out of line-of-sight of the car.
When it's cold, the hardtop goes on and stays on 24/7.
I do very much like the fact that I have the hardtop and so have the option of being convertible or not as I see fit. The hardtop's got a unique look to it, quiets down the ride considerably, and makes it easier to hear the radio, but I doubt very much I'd have bothered buying the car if it were only a coupe.

This car is my sport bike without the tradeoff in safety that an R1 or CBR brings. With a wife and three kids, I couldn't get another bike, so I chose the next best thing...an S2000. It revs like a bike and I can be in the open air whenever I want. Plus, with a proper turbo, I can get somewhat close to the speed of an R1! It's the best purchase I've ever made, and I wouldn't even have test driven one if it were a coupe.

Most will answer convertible, but a lot of those are just being self-delusional. Many convertible owners just like the idea of having a convertible, but they never put the top down.

Case in point: in the last two days I've seen five S's out on the road (besides my own), only one of which had the top down. Bad, winter weather, you ask? Sure, if you consider 70s and cloudless skies to be insufficient reason to put the top down.

Did you ever stop and think, perhaps they have been driving for a long while with the top down, and just recently put the top up?
