on my way home from santa cruz tonight i took the 'ol stook out of gear and let her roll down the hill....guess what? if you try to set cruise control while in neutral...the cruise control revs the sh*t out of the engine...

you'd think it'd be smarter?

I would suggest you don't do that anymore

enLihtninBoy

Why don't you press the trunk release while driving at high speed on the freeway, and see if the rear end tends to grip the road better?

How about the one where someone in a recreational vehicle set the cruise control then went back to make a sandwich with no one else driving?

Yeah, why don't we rip the motors out of the window risers, outside mirrors, and soft top while we are at it? Not traditional enough!

i was just checking what would happen...

the cruise on our stook's i suprisingly accurate though...it sticks to the set speed very well. and the up/down increments are right on too. is it just me, or when u set cruise, does the pedal sort of get sucked in? and when disengaged, it snaps back out?
